Interactive demos
Section titled “Interactive demos”- Demo
BroadphaseArena: bullet-hell collision broadphase
Rebuilds the quadtree every frame and runs the exact test only on candidate pairs; the status line compares them with n² brute-force checks live.
- Demo
BulletSpawner: a 256-bullet object pool
A turret acquires bullets from a 256-slot pool and releases them as they leave the arena; when a burst exceeds the pool, acquire() returns null and the shot is dropped.
- Demo
CharacterBrain: hit, invulnerability frames and state inspection
A hit-stun and invulnerability state machine: after() from aifsmjs/timer drives the timers, and the status line lists the last 3 transitions logged by aifsmjs/inspect.
- Demo
HeroSprite: an animation state graph driven by the Pixi adapter
A character switches between idle, run and jump; the code only sets speed and fires the jump trigger, and the graph decides which frame plays.
- Demo
SwarmSimulation: a movement system over 2,000 entities
Every frame, 2,000 entities run through steer, move and draw systems, and the draw system writes the Position columns straight into a PixiJS ParticleContainer.
